About me

Kristen Walden is a self-managed, emerging singer songwriter based in Sydney. With a passion for music and performing, Kristen took up singing from a young age and became self taught on acoustic guitar and piano. She began writing her own songs in 2023, releasing her debut single Girl In The Mirror in November of 2024, this was followed by the release of more singles including Run Away, Morgan and Flinch.

After graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Diploma of Music (Music Artist), she moved to Sydney to continue her studies starting a Bachelor of Contemporary Music Practice at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2025.

Inspired by a range of artists including Keith Urban, P!nk, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, Carrie Underwood and more. She blends a range of genres to support her lyrics and storytelling in an authentic way. Kristen continues to work on her craft with plans to finalise and release her debut EP at the beginning of 2026.
